I decided to make my own hockey stick wax. I started to create my own recipe. I wanted something that was really sticky but wouldn’t freeze or melt. I also wanted to make it rub on the stick. I also wanted to make sure the wax didn’t make my tape job all brown and yucky, like a booger.
It turns out it is harder than you think. I found out that it was really hard not to burn the wax. I found out you can’t just use any wax. You have to use a unique combination of wax to make it rub white on your stick, rub easy onto the stick, make it sticky, and make it so id doesn’t freeze or melt.
Here is a picture of some of my recipes they are not so good but I made some progress with each recipe I made. I used the old wax and it wasn’t good. I’ll keep making more.
